Mystery, Intrigue, Conspiracy, and Murder at the Theatre
A Simple Assassination by Robert Friedman performs at the M&DA Studio Theatre on Dalrymple on the LSU Campus and runs from December 1 - 6, 2009 at 7:30pm and on December 6, 2009 at 2:00pm.

A Simple Assassination explores the web of conspiracy that surrounded the assassination of President Lincoln. A Simple Assassination, produced by LSU Theatre to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth, ultimately projects the intrigues of our historical past to caution us against present and future circumstances.

Robert Friedman is the author of seven full-length plays and sixteen one-act plays. Mr. Friedman has had over 140 book reviews published by the St. Louis Post Dispatch. In wartime, he served as a reporter for the U.S. Army newspaper "Stars and Stripes." Mr. Friedman resides in St. Louis, Missouri. A Simple Assassination has been translated into Russian.
